2024-25 Elections
Offices and Positions
For the 2024-25 elections, only Exec Board Members-at-Large and Representative Council positions are open. Members-at-Large and Rep Council are all one-year terms. Duties and responsibilities are listed below and an excerpt of duties and typical meeting times for all offices may be downloaded. Declare candidacy for any open position through the links below.
Executive Board: General duties and responsibilities are to support the day-to-day business of the organization as defined in the Bylaws and the Standing Rules. The Executive Board consists of 4 officers with two-year concurrent terms (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer) and 3 members-at-large with one-year terms. The Executive Board meets the first Wednesday of every academic month and in summer as necessary.
For 2024-25, only the Members-at-Large positions are open:

Members-at-Large (3 positions)
Representative Council: The policy-making body of the organization with duties as defined in the Bylaws and Standing Rules. Representatives are elected from each of 14 faculty units with additional representatives for non-tenured faculty and 3 work sites. They serve one-year terms and meet the third Wednesday of Sept - Nov and Feb - Apr of each academic year. The number of representatives allowed per unit is defined in the Standing Rules and updated annually.
For 2024-25, the following representative positions are open:

Worksites (Visalia, Hanford, Tulare): 1 Rep each site

Allied Health & Nursing: 2 Reps

Consumer Family Studies: 1 Rep
